I've been taking CEUs to keep my nursing license current primarily through Duke. One presentation addressed using cell phones/iPads as counseling conduit. The assumption presented: younger troops feel more comfortable with technology and were assigned to technical counseling. My opinion; we need real people to help work through challenges. Would you feel more comfortable with technology or human contact?

I would say I like the ability of automated help. It can be there whenever you need it to be. In hard times you may not want to be with another person but usually you will have your phone with you. It is easier to text now a days then to call someone. It is the way of the times. I think utilizing this as a means to help some with PTSD is good.
