How does the whole pilot name happen? I've seen the names on planes so how are they earned? Do you give yourself this name or is it chosen for you by your peers? I'm sorry if I said this all wrong. But here's an example of what I mean.
Example: LTJG Alexus "Sunshine" Alexander.
Sunshine? Who thought of that?
