I got orders to Alaska before I got deployed, but got them deleted while deployed. However, I actually want to be stationed in Alaska now. Do you think I can get my assignment back or at least get assigned to Alaska again even if it’s a different report date if I talk to my branch manager?

That is the correct path. Not many Soldiers fighting over Alaska. Can’t cannot hurt to try.

That would be your first step, most branch managers can work wonders.

If your orders are deleted you will not have any favor in relation to the rest of the Army. It's dependent on the needs and availability. The only have that can really tell you anything is your branch manager.
