Buying my first boots for Battle Assembly and on to CHBOLC.

Do the Garmont T8 NFS 670 Lightweight boots live up to the hype? does anyone have experience wearing them both garrison and field as advertised?

Im worried the focus is on comfort and not function. Do not want to get a couple weeks in and them not be what I really need.

Never worn this style/make. I usually go with Danner or Belleville. Both of those makes serve both comfort and function quite well.

CH (CPT) (Join to see) - I Concur with MSG (Join to see) Danner is well worth the money, never been disappointed by a Danner boot.

Personally, never had them to try out.

Best bet when looking at something like this is to check out trusted review sites on the web. A quick Google search with the terms 'review Garmont T8 NFS 670' turned up these detailed write-ups.
https://authorizedboots.com/garmont-t8-nfs-boots-review/
https://www.shootingillustrated.com/content/review-garmont-tactical-t8-nfs-boot/
https://www.ruckformiles.com/rucking-gear/garmont-t8-bifida-vs-nfs/
etc.

Bottom line of the reviews seems to be that they do live up to the hype, but check the reviews out for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

I always wear the issue winter boots. The extra insulation is padding that makes them comfortable and prevents blisters.
