Hi, I was wondering how to figure out how much a 72d will get paid. Or if someone could tell me how much they get paid. We are having a hard time figuring out how much my boyfriend will get paid and are curious is what the recruiter told him is correct.

Oh, for the love of.....the pay is based on rank and time in service. There are, I belive, some AOCs that get a prorated pay. But I believe that usually involves being a doctor. All you need to do is google military pay charts. Your BF would either be commissioned as a 2LT (O-1) or 1LT (O-2). Then look at the pay scale for less than 2 years time in service. But to save time....Base Pay for O1 under 2 years is 3477.30/month and Base Pay for O2 under 2 years is 4006.50/month.

COL Randall C. HI, my boyfriends AMEED recruiter told him that he would be getting something much higher than what everyone is saying. Is there a pay for the actual job he will be doing on top of the base pay to or just the basic pay is what he is getting.

Avery Jackson - You'll have to see what type of incentive/professional pay the AMEED recruiter was referring to. One word of advice - don't trust any figures from a recruiter unless they are in writing. I'm not saying they are bad (almost all are not), but having it in writing cuts down on confusion.
There are various incentive pays in the military*. It's POSSIBLE that your boyfriend would be eligible for one of those (maybe 'Special Pay for Medical Officers' although it doesn't sound like he meets the conditions), but without knowing what one the recruiter was referencing it's impossible to tell.
As MSG (Join to see) pointed out, everyone in the military is paid their base pay the exact same way. It depends on your rank and number of years of service.
Some (mainly enlisted servicemembers) will have bonuses that are part of their contract (most officers aren't under contracts, but some in the medical and other 'professional civilian occupations' are brought onto active duty for a limited time to fulfill a needed shortage).
On top of that would be any incentive pays that are situationally dependent, but as long as you meet the eligibility requirements (for example, hazardous duty pay, flight pay, jump status, etc.) you'll get it.
Again, you'll have to find out what the recruiter was talking about.

Have you looked at a pay chart? It’s based off rank and year. MOS doesn’t factor in. Then after you have base pay figured out you can add anything else that applies like BAH, BAS, COLA and any extra duty pay. You also have added in entire such as hazardous duty and all that.
But all of this is something you can find online

Fun fact, you can figure what anyone and everyone is making in entire U.S military. All of our pay charts for our base pay are posted to the public. You will always be able to know what you make, and what your Soldiers make, and what your boss makes, and anybody else.
