Has anyone prior service in the marine corps re-enlisted as a reservist to do recon?

Was infantry while I was in about 6 years ago. I’m trying to lat move into 4th recon. Anyone have experience doing that?

There is no lateral move when you are out. Your question would be best answered by your local recruiting station.

What did the recruiter tell you? You would have to go to SOI and pass BRC. The Recruiter will be able to walk you through all the steps and hurdles to get you there.
