Trying to co-locate with spouse at new duty location (dual-active duty), any advice?

My wife and I are currently stationed together in
Hawaii. Our DEROS dates don't align neither do ETS.
My dates are; ETS: May 2024 DEROS: Nov 2023
Hers; ETS: AUG 2026 DEROS: AUG 2024 I plan on reenlisting for new location (Maryland), but we are worried that our dates don't align and will have trouble getting stationed there together. We are currently enrolled in MACP but wondering if anyone was roughly in the same situation before.

Your DEROS dates aren't an issue, they're close enough you'll move together. But your spouse can put in an FSTE to move her DEROS to yours.
You probably won't get Maryland, it's difficult enough to put one person there let alone two. Even harder when coming from OCONUS. You can request two duty stations at a time, so add a second one you're willing to accept if Maryland isn't supported.
Once HRC locks you in for the assignment and you reenlist, your spouse will be placed on assignment as well

If MACP gets approved the Army will do all it can within reason to get you assigned to the same installation. Based on original dates one, or both of you may have to re-enlist to accept the joint assignment. You are on the correct track. Work with your retention NCOs. If you are in separate BNs make sure that the two are speaking to one another. Without knowing the both MOS’s and rank it is hard to say much more, seek retention NCO.
