So yea, it is, that's what 670-1 says (yes, yes, version 2021), and NCO's wear shoulder marks. I've just never actually seen it that way. Well, OK then. So be it. I'm doing funeral details and it's weather dictates and we get picked apart for our uniforms for these details (which is totally understandable).

Sir just follow the regs-you can't go wrong, and I have seen it all the times on active duty.
