I’ll join the guard In 07 of 2018 didnt ship out for basic for 6 months then did OSUT for 6 month stayed in the guard for about a year and then I switched over to active duty. My BASD only gives me time for 2020 which is 3 years in service. I am currently a sergeant that will be able to go the board in a month since I have enough TIG. Will I be able to attend since I technically do not have 47 months in service. Am I not in my secondary zone due to this? Is this correct? If not how can I fix it?

There is a TIG and TIS requirement, your Battalion S1 will be able to calculate the TIS as your TIG does not change.

You should be able to go. They will have to look at your DOR. I had this happen to me when I switched over. Usually a quick talk to HRC or your S1 can resolve this.

So I am not coming up on the end of months reports and my S1 will not recalculate my time. I’d love to not have to wait an extra 9 months to be able to go. Is there anything I can do to fix it myself?

If you look in the glossary of the promotion reg you'll see that Time in Service for Active Duty is calculated from BASD and Time in Service for Reserve Components is calculated from PEBD.

Also, if you didn't drill with your unit before Basic you PEBD shouldn't be July 2018. You'll want to get that corrected before you start accumulating an overpayment debt.
