What are the living conditions like being deployed in Slovakia?

What are the living conditions like? Ability to contact families? Maintenance facilities? Weather? Local population?

Are you from the INARNG (they are the State partners with Slovakia)? There were a number of Soldiers that went over during Slovak Shield in 2019.
If that's the case (you're from the INARNG and you're heading over to another SPP exercise) and you strike out here, and have contacts in the units, you might want to reach out to 1st Squadron/38th ID, 152nd Cav Regiment or the 76th IBCT units to see if you can get info from there.

Our command team is going for a sight visit soon and they will get answers to most of our questions. I was trying to the run down a little sooner so I could help my guys better understand what it will be like.

And to answer your initial question we are not apart of INARNG but we are supposedly going to be taking a partnership with Slovakia. So far we've told it is austere.
