Assuming it isn't a case where they just don't have enough seats to go around in the 2023 course, there possibly could be a reason you were bumped to a later class that has to be addressed first and a decision was to make it later so there would be enough time to have it addressed (hypothetical, but it happens).

You can always call HRC and ask about a date change (or at least get some clarification why your date is over a year out), but their stated policy is that you can only request a date change based on the following:
• Medical deferment
• Compassionate deferment
• Deployment deferment

In all cases, the change would be made by submitting a 4817 through your chain up to HRC for approval.

Thanks for reply and info Sir. I will be giving HR an call. My unit is going on an OAR rotation but not a deployment. So I don't know if they sent something up but I will investigate further

Generally speaking, you can't. You are slotted at the earliest class available for you. In order for you to be slotted earlier, someone else has to be bumped or delayed. So, your reason for requesting has to be valid enough to warrant bumping someone else. Just wanting an earlier class date isn't a valid reason. Imagine yourself being bumped to 2025 and imagine what would be big enough to warrant that. That's what you need to have a justifiable reason
