A PV2 pointing a weapon at a camera to look "hard" while in uniform. Shocking.<div><br></div><div>A stupid kid with two seconds in the Army and perhaps no real understanding yet of pride in the uniform, making a stupid and reckless mistake. It's as if she's young, stupid and reckless.<div><div><br></div><div>Sigh...correct her and move forward. </div></div></div>

SSG V. Michelle Woods It's not the size of the boot, it's the technique behind it.
Make sure your rotate at the hip, snap the leg straight right before the moment of contact for a little extra velocity, and make solid contact with the target (when wearing boots, I prefer the jaw) using the ball of the foot. Be ready to reverse the movement and execute a brachial stun with your heel on the return swing.
If the subject in question happens to be taller and you cannot reach their jaw as you stand on the ground, skip the Hollywood jumping spin kicks, and take it to the nethers. Contrary to popular belief, when correctly executed, this technique is effective on both genders.
For further guidance, especially as concerns dimension lumber, Please refer to FM 22-102.

SSG Graves, Please. In it's current form, liberalism is politically correct and soft. I find it amazing that SM would call me out for the love of this country and for things that threaten them.
This is a perception that is largely held by most old school veterans. Could you imagine what old time Drill Instructors would think about these kinds of pictures, especially in uniform.
And if you want to debate what happened in the 60s, why go for it. Because as I see it, upper leadership is selling us out. Sorry but I believe this because I have lived it.
