Its based on their Pay= 100% of the retirement pay.

No, it depends on the disability rating and how many dependents. The figure MSG Livingston posted is for a single soldier, or in this case, Marine. As an example, if that Marine is married with a child under 18, he would receive $3,971.78. Any additional Children under 18 adds $100.34 a month. Plus those dependents would qualify for CHAMPVA health care coverage.

SGM Bill Frazer - My point is that it isn't based of retirement. If I pulled 100% Disability, I would receive the same amount.
That last 10% jumps your compensation by almost $1500 a month, plus access to a lot of other benefits. BTW.
