I am currently going through the Fedrec process, and I am at 0 days with an explanation of "Awaiting scrolling and DoD approvals". Does anyone know what this means?

Exactly that. The list of those being promoted has to go through a lot of hands before you're put on a scroll to double-check that you're still eligible for promotion, nothing adverse that will embarrass the Army has slipped through the cracks (i.e., "Army promotes Serial Shoplifter to WO2!"), and nothing else that would impact the list or raise concerns is noted.

This* should give you a bit more insight into the timelines involved and the steps the list has to go through.

Thanks for the slide, sir. But does the description comment tell where the packet is in the scrolling process? Can one assume that "Awaiting scrolling and DoD approvals" means it's at DoD (Under Secretary of Defense) which is towards the end of the scrolling process? or does it not tell what step of the process at all?

2LT (Join to see) - Yes and No on the clarity of the status. It doesn't tell you exactly where it's at, but it does show you which stage it's in.

I think you might have skipped over my main comments and just looked at the slide based on your question... ☺

I am currently waiting on Fedrec for O-2, and mine also has said 0 Days, and "Awaiting scrolling and DoD approvals" since at least December. Is the status not updated for the individual steps that COL Cudworth linked?
