I have a 6 year contract, does agr compress it into 3 years since ur considered active duty?

What are requirements to be agr?
What needs to be completed?

AGR is "active duty for the reserve component", but no, AGR doesn't "compress" your commitment.

Instead of copying & pasting the information, you can look at an article on the National Guard's webpage* with a lot of the information you want to know about the program.

AGR is USUALLY a competitive program and not something you can just say "ok, I'll give it a shot". You apply for the program, either with your state (Title 32 AGR) or with the National Guard Bureau (Title 10 AGR).
