Hello All question is for more recent Airborne Graduates (as in the last seven months). Does anyone know how to obtain a physical copy of Parachute Badge Orders? I was told by a Blackhat that they do not give them out at graduation but that it would populate in IPPS-A. I can't find anything in regards to orders but it does populate in my STP and as a SQI but no badge orders. It also populates successful graduate in ATRRS as well but it's been a little weird in regards to getting in-processed to my unit and wanted to see what others had experienced with this recently. I huge on having all my records squared away and I've tried reaching out to the schoolhouse with no answer and wanted to try here. Thank You!

Well, the good news is that the "system" has all your Is dotted and Ts crossed. Your graduation of the school is in the records and you have the SQI populated. The bad new is now you're at the mercy of the bureaucracy of the military.

I can personally attest that I have a couple of items throughout my career where I should have orders documenting the award of something, but they never caught up with my records for some reason. As the course completion was documented and the appropriate information (ASI, MOS, etc) was applied as well, I never was concerned.

However, you are correct that you should have orders.

You can contact the Airborne POC at HRC at [login to see] or call [login to see] . They should be able to give you the correct answer regarding how long it should take before you get orders in your records.

Failing any answer from them (again, they should have the answers), you can contact the ASI/SQI folks at HRC at [login to see] .

You can contact the school house about it also. I worked at Benning in the past. The school has to load you into IPPSA to feed the system for your orders. It is not quick. I took a course at Benning and the infantry school didn't recognize the course even though it was an infantry school course. After a little bit of time my ASI was added. If the school house isn't responding you can try to get your leadership involved. Your 1SG might be able to help.

Normally they list them in your records. at least in the old days, how else could you claim the "P" identifier?
