How long are you going to wait until purchasing the coyote brown boots?

I know that you aren't supposed to be allowed to wear the coyote brown boots unless they are worn with the new uniform, but I have seen it happen. You can however still wear the tan boots with the new uniform. When are you going to purchase the new boots?

As long as possible. I have enough tan boots to last until doomsday.
I haven't even seen them in Clothing Sales yet, aside from the ones covered in Marine Corps logos.

Like SSG Michael Livesey, I'm going to move all at once - buy the uniforms this weekend and get nemetapes sewn on, and the boots if they have any decent ones in stock. If not, I'll see what Danner or Belleville have online.

I was going to wait until it seemed that the majority of JBLM had made the switch. I really had wanted that to be sometime next year, but I think it will be before the end of the FY now.

It will probably be awhile because I actually like to try on all my boots before I purchase them. Currently where I am stationed, we don't have a Army Clothing and Sales, so I will have some difficulty trying on some boots. I might be forced to order a pair online.
