have you considered getting your prereqs done, applying to civilian schools ? If you get in, graduate and are still feeling like a glutton for punishment, you could always apply for a direct commission. You could stay in the reserves while in PA school.

I had buddy who just needed the Regimental Commander's signature. Everything was good until he showed in the wrong shirt for the regimental run. The COL trashed the packet. In other words, don't do something stupid.

MAJ Ken Landgren , that sounds like horrible leadership. There had to be more going on than what that story implies. haha

The Regiment is one of the Premier Helicopter Units in the world. He used poor judgment and a $12 shirt cost him his the opportunity to go to PA school.

SFC A.M. Drake - thank you very much. I greatly appreciate the extensive info. This will help make everything less painful to get together and prepare my packet.

Just finished that school actually, get PAs to write your letters of recommendation. Not doctors or congressmen, PAs! Also they are looking for the whole Soldier, not the PT stud, not the nerd, the overall solid performer.
