Looking for a good Career Field? Consider Law Enforcement combined with Cybersecurity.

For those transitioning from active duty, either separation or retirement, I highly recommend law enforcement as a career. There is a need for veterans within the ranks of law enforcement. Depending on where you live, there are most likely openings for which you can apply and the best part, most have a veterans preference.

Merely applying doesn't guarantee you will be hired and most agencies, especially in California, require at least two years of college. You will have to pass a background and possibly psychological evaluation and be in good shape. If you have experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or another technical field, this is a plus.

I highly recommend this career field for it's challenges and opportunities.
