Who has visited the 9/11 museum in NYC? I saw this today and it reminded me that it was open. I have visited the site and the memorial multiple times throughout the years but have yet to go to the museum. Have anyone gone? What did you like or not like about it?

The time will come, I have not been to the museum yet.
I went to the memorial site last year, it was difficult.
Prior to that I was there in November 2009 for the commissioning of the USS New York, we actually were invited into see the construction within Ground Zero.
The time before that was September 2001.

It is always a difficult trip to make. I went to the Pentagon memorial both inside and outside of the Pentagon and was at the field where the memorial was to be built in Pennsylvania. I always wanted to go back to PA to see what the memorial now looks like after it was completed.

Having worked at The Pentagon, I have obviously been to that memorial. The space I worked in was the part that was hit, I never forgot that.
My best friend was stationed at The Pentagon on 2001 and we have talked briefly at times about his experiences that day, I never push him.
