Why is DTMS and IPPS-A not talking to each other and is messing up Soldiers' PPW for Promotions?

I am the main DTMS Operator in my unit, and a repeated pattern I have noticed with all the soldiers in my units is that around April 2025, DTMS and IPPS-A stopped communicating between the platforms. Before that point if I inputted an ACFT, Range or HT/WT it would appear on a SM's Soldier Talent Profile and Promotion Points Worksheet on IPPS-A, typically within 24-48 hours. Since April, I noticed that it was no longer the case. It is like radio silence between the platforms. All the Soldiers in my unit are showing delinquent on their Range Qualifications in IPPS-A, and new ACFT/AFT test scores are not reflecting on their Profiles. For promotion purposes, this is negatively affecting our E4s and E5s in their promotable status, with points not reflecting on their PPW. I have sent in score cards to my BN S1 and have seen him in person manually attempt to enter Range Quals, ACFT, and AFT scores to IPPS-A, to no avail, as the scores do not change. I refuse to validate my points rn, because my range qualification has just disappeared, so a whole section of points is gone, and I can't take a 60 sum point hit when I'm competing for the few 12N AGR SSG slatings.
Essentially, I want to know if anyone knows why these two systems are not talking and if a fix is coming around the corner? Is there a way to regain control of calculating our points again from from IPPS-A stranglehold?

As you're the main DTMS operator, and it seems like it was working prior to April, I assume the 'standard problems' have already been addressed, but since troubleshooting 101 starts with the basics I covered the 'usual culprits' below* for completeness.
I double-checked the IPPS-A Support Group* and the announcements, and neither are showing a general issue that’s affecting the synchronization between the two systems. Is this affecting ALL Soldiers in your unit or just certain ones?
Have you submitted a CRM ticket? If not, then do so, and if you have, did you check for any updates on the notes (the IPPS-A team updates CRM notes as they progress through a fix)?
Alternatively, you can contact the IPPS-A Help Desk* and explain the issue you’re having. While 90%+ of the time the problem is a process issue, they’ll have the “super-user” ability to address something if it requires it.

* IPPS-A Help Desk/Contact Information - https://ipps-a.army.mil/contact/
* Usual culprits with DTMS/IPPS-A issues:
● The Soldier's weapon qualification score must be for the primary assigned weapon in DTMS and the assigned date must be before the qualification date. In other words, ensure the primary assigned weapon is done first with a date prior to the qualification date and then enter the scores. If not, delete the qualification and weapon assignment, assign the weapon (with a date that is prior to the qualification and after they arrived at the unit) as the primary and then enter the qualification information.
● ACFT scores are only valid if prior to June 1, 2025 (when the AFT become official and replaced the ACFT). ACFT scores after this date won’t update to DTMS.

The problem could be at either end. It seems like almost every year DTMS had a problem with IWQ, PT and HT-WT inputs "sticking" in DTMS, that's been an on-going problem since the contract changeover about 10+ years ago.
And, IPPS-A routinely has system updates, and these updates almost always break at least one or more read relationships with another system.
If all the scores are still in DTMS after input, and everything is correct per COL Cudworth's post, then the first step is submitting a CRM to IPPS-A or calling their helpdesk.

Good afternoon SGT(P) (Join to see). Excellent post. Thanks for sharing this brother Micah. I'm glad that you brought this up. Because when I was stationed at Ft. Knox I was the assistant DTMS individual within my unit. Every year there was some sort of issue within that system. :-<
