We are using the Humana EPO plan. Even in the Network, it has turned into a nightmare. Dentists here are dropping them like hot potatoes!

We use FEP Blue Cross Blue Shield through BENEFEDS. So far, it's been flawless. No drama, and they have paid their bills as agreed. As with all insurance, being in network is the best solution, but our dentists take BCBS with no issues.

I see a lot of VA users here. I suppose that would work for retirees under Medicare age. I never used the VA because I always had some employer coverage.
As a retiree on Medicare and TFL, I researched the BENEFEDS website and made a choice. I will select the MetLife Federal Dental Plan when the November election date arrives. The calendar year 2026 will have me on a new plan, and hopefully, I won't encounter similar problems as I did with Humana.
