I'm looking to stay proactive in my career for a short tour I'm currently assigned. Soldier, joint unit, naval base, limited opportunities from what I see. Any suggestions on schools, online or resident courses. All assistance is appreciated.

Short answer: Yes.

Longer answer: You neglected to mention anything about your goals or desires aside from "stay proactive in your career". Explain that - are you looking to build up promotion points? Are you looking to get certifications in something? Are you looking to expand your knowledge base in some aspect of logistics? Etc.

A generic approach is to go to the COOL website*, plug in your MOS (shortcut is https://www.cool.osd.mil/army/moc/index.html?moc=92a), and then explore the various certifications and training available.

Explore what's available through the Army Training Network*, which serves as central link into the various official Army training sites (DTMS, CATS, SULT, etc.)

However, first and foremost you need to figure out the "why" of what you're doing, otherwise you're just doing something for the sake of doing something, which may be a completely ineffective method in achieving whatever your goals are.

You're right sir. I should have clarified. I'm looking to gain promotion points through courses (primarily resident courses here in Bahrain). Being that I'm in a joint logistics unit I'm trying to cross-train between branches within the logistics field. My goal is to become a 920B: Supply SystemTechnician (SSA warrant). Being that I have tactical, operational and now starting in gaining strategic/theater-level logistics I'm trying to have the credentials to show my experience to build my WO packet.

SGT (Join to see) - what you can do is use MilGear's 'Engage My Career' option* to help guide your path to the end-state you desire.

You can upload many of the military documents you already have (Soldier Talent Profile, Enlisted Record Brief, Joint Service Transcript, etc.) and then supplement with anything that's missing. After that, follow through fleshing out your background and select the career path as a 920B.

It should populate with a wealth of suggestions for achieving that as an end-state for building up your credentials as a future 920B.
