When I left Korea, I was told that I was receiving an Army Commendation Medal, but the clerk was going to hand deliver it the following month when he PCSd back to the States as he lived a couple hours away from me and we were friends.

Was suppose to receive an MSM at retirement, but it was never updated in the system before I retired. Tried getting it squared away afterwards, but no luck... Thinking about trying again this year.

I left Korea in 1985 ets. I received my army accommodation medal and ordered in the mail after my Ets. I lost them in a move and I just got a copy of dd214 and it's not on there. I also joined the army reserve in scottsburg Indiana for a year or so and went to pldc. I earned a nco ribbon there as no it's not on dd214 either. I basivly was pulling my 3 years inactive in the reserves at this time . I decided reserves wasnt for me and opted back to inactive status
