U.S. and U.K. Army paratroopers conduct a massive urban combat simulation helped by MILES sytem.
The Parachute Regiment (PARA) is the essential element of the infantry airborne troops of the British Army. The brigade is currently respectively assumed a light infantry battalion in another. How many airborne units of other nations they are regarded as an elite unit, which is due to the hard service and stringent selection.
In December 2004 it was announced that 1 PARA the core of the Joint Special Forces Support Group forms to act as a support element for the SAS. The Parachute Regiment provides more candidates for the selection of the SAS than any other unit. The unit was established in 1942 and is due MFF skydive fit.
In late 2005, the fourth battalion Parachute Regiment Reserve and so lost its connection to the Territorial Army
