SGT Ben Keen No, I am basing it on a disturbing trend that I have seen whereby social media=fact. The duffelblog posting was just for fun.

The problem as I see it is todays citizens are addicted to social media and want to believe what they believe is right. Too lazy to do the necessary research to determine validity of what is promulgated (I always liked that word in the Navy). When something is posted anywhere, the first thing I do is validate the claim, unless properly sourced.
