This is a question that has long bothered me. As I have seen in many discussions by our politicians and even on RP, it seems to be more important to be right and have the "W" than to make concessions or to agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion or (and God forbid this should EVER happen) say "I was wrong and you were right."
So, is winning and being right all the time about everything the only thing?

If it's fact, then there is only one answer....the right one.
If it's opinion....then there is no right or wrong so state your opinion and then seek peace.

Always and never are dangerous words. I suppose the challenge is defining winning. Winning may be just being understood.
