Do you believe in astrology? Do the stars affect our lives?

No more so than I believe in the easter bunny honest politicians, or corporate citizenship. No where in any physics text does an astal body's motion or alignment have a term to account for its affect on my coffee maker or my pants zipper. Until the Grand Unified Theory accounts for those affects, I don't believe in it.

Yes...I've read astronomy books and tried some questionnaires and it's so uncanny how it seems to work and be true.

I think people will believe whatever they want to believe. Part of the whole "wish thinking" mentality of religion.
