I have been studying for SAMC. In my research I came across som outlandish accusations about Audie Murphy. He was supposedly arrested/accused of child molestation. I've seen nothing but rediculous "he said/she said stuff but nothing substantial. Please tell me that this isn't true and if it is give substantial evedence not your opinion or "he said/she said". I greatly have admired Sergeant Audie Leon Murphy for years and am honored to be a nominee of the SAMC organization but I have to know this.

Audie Murphy's true character is nothing short of a hero and honorable! However, nobody is perfect and we should all realize that ALL OF US are sinners. Call it a "mistake" or whatever you want, but nobody since Jesus has been perfect. What's really important here is to focus on what Audie Murphy accomplished during his time of service - he remains one of the most decorated American combat soldiers of World War II, and received every military combat award for valor available from the U.S. Army.

We live in a day age when the Progressives and Liberals are free to dishonor people, degrade accomplishments, tear down social mores, attack religion, ostracize individuals and redefine and reinterpret what have been accepted for decades simply because they can. Hero's are no exception. NOw that there aren't as many WWII and Korean veterans to defend themselves (and not enough people who are capable of defending them, but choose to be silent, they are going after and challenging what we baned the "Greatest Generation of them all" . Today there are many avenues and different venues to carry their once " crazy, sick, weird and even dangerous opinions and beliefs " to other who are sympathetic and receptive and the same vehicles are being used to disseminate all the bullshit. And last but least, they all push laws to the very limits to fall within the protected safe confines of "Constitutional Rights" and if they're not, they can usually can find some judge or current administration official to legislate from the bench. So to answer your question, Audie Murphy's record is not above attack. What better way than to question his character.

I couldn't agree with you more LCpl. I am LDS and throughout my military career, I have had to fight to get where I am because I don't live the same lifestyle. It is the people from Woodstock in the 60's that demeaned our military members from Vietnam that are now trying to brainwash our younger generation now with liberal garbage. It's what is being infiltrated in the universities and unfortunately, the students are accepting what is being taught. Nevermind the sacrifices that were made that they could live the lives they choose to live. They have no definition of the word sacrifice that others might live better lives. The cause must be a great. Not a just because we want it this way.

I agree sir, if a liberal were to attempt to degrade Audie, I would be quite inclined to toss him out of the plane. As the recipient of this abuse, it is for me to say, and here we can say, that is terrible that counseling and other modalities were not there to serve the hero who served his country. It's an awful thing, and known amongst cops and other service members , I'm all for truth. If some half communist cockroach were to use it to further an agenda of hero bashing, I'd strangle them. When I say I have forgiven the dude, I mean it. there was a famous singer who was known to hand out signed checks with no amount filled in, he assisted the man and woman who raised me in such a fashion. In 1991 I saw the man in concert, and he knew exactly who I was. Sinatra was very astute. I was about 19. The damage from the beating was so bad, I'm three years older than my birth certificate says because my gh production stopped and I believe exogenous cadaver sources were used. I know I'm a miracle, if you don't believe me, listen to the Natalie Merchant song Wonder. It is , specifically about me. God Bless America and all those like the gret singer who helped me over the years.

I am a member of SAMC and did some research when I was prepping for the board. The best I could find for where these accusations came from was he did have an alcohol problem when he came back. He was pulled over with a child in the car that did not belong to him. Couldn't find anything else to validate it though so take it with a grain of salt. There is no hard evidence against him. If you need help with what to expect feel free pm me.
