What regulaton covers the clarification of the 30, 60, 90 apft tests for all NCOES schooles?

The same thing was brought up here. They were briefing that the BDE, BN and co pt tests for NCOESs were all records which is against the regulation. I never did hear what became of it

Read AR 350-1. Again it says IF only 2!are given no closer than 4 and no greater than 8

I understand what you say SGT McBride, but this is simple, if you are selected for airborne school, you take a APFT at the unit, and one at the school, if you fail the one in the school, it doesn't matter if you passed the one at your unit a week before, you still get send back to your unit with a flag, that's how it's for NCOES, in III Corps they just making sure you are coming back with a marginal 1059 or kicked out of the school because you failed the APFT,if you're going to a NCOES is because you're NCO or about to become one, the Army is expecting more from you, my opinion is that if you can't pass an APFT every 30 days, you should stay where you at, by regulation your command shouldn't start a chapter onder that conditions, but they may flag you as many time as you failed the APFT,

There isn't one, that is the BN CSM's choice to have that. After all if a Soldier from that command goes to NCOES and fails it makes the Command that sent him look bad.

SGT McBride, as SFC Martin stated, that requirement is found in the III Corps Schools SOP. As a former 1SG at Fort Hood, I believe it was established as a result of too many NCOs going to NCOES courses and failing the APFT. It may seem extreme but I believe it is meant to take care of NCOs so that they do not fail out of an NCOES course, or other course such as Drill Sergeant. Gone are the days of the marginal 1059 for failing the APFT or height/weight.
