CNN is going crazy with this missing airplane.  It's news, so cover it... but 23.99 hours a day?  At this point, they are just making stuff up and offering nothing but conjecture.  Why?  Have they gone mad?  Is there nothing better to report... like, say... a stabbing incident in a high school?  Supreme Court decisions?  What's going on with CNN?

See?  I can go after CNN as well as Fox :D  It's about discussing all sides.

Welcome to the world of no real news, without anything related to politics or some natural disaster, most news agencies or stations don't or can't broadcast anything pertinent that the nation really wants or needs to see.

All the national crisis's that are occurring such as the HS stabbings or Washington mud slide, and so on and so on. Hopefully they will wake up and let it go, or the plane will be found so they can start real reporting again.

You're right about that.  It's like when Fox News could only report on Anna Nicole Smith and the string of white, blonde girls who went missing.  It was almost 24/7 coverage.  I guess CNN caught that bug and is doing it with this flight.  It's way too much.

I believe that they (CNN) have lost their legitimacy as a News network.  Their focus now is on entertainment (not the entertainment industry, but entertainment in general)  If they can be sensationalist about anything they will.. it's no longer about the facts.

I still say that this is due to Fox News.  Fox came at the table swingin' hard with beautiful women and kick-ass graphics.  CNN and the others needed to stay competitive so they grabbed onto the mold Fox had set.  It actually works for Fox, but it makes all of the other agencies look like crappy imitators.

many used to refer to CNN as the "Clinton News Network" due to their undying devotion to all things Clinton.. even that has gone away!
