A Fish Story? Paratrooper Who Completed Final Jump With Pet Fish Receives UCMJ

Why?? There was a 1sgt in the 1/504th inf., at Ft Bragg N.C. that had a BIG sugar beet in a jar. It looked like a big blob of chewing tobacco. He would pick out a trooper in the co., to carry it on a jump and woe, woe, woe on the trooper that brought it back broken. They would be required to eat the beet, ugh. So what's wrong with jumping with a goldfish anyway? And taking a pic wh OP ke coming down has been done for ages!! I'll got some great pictures of the other guys floating gently to the ground.

Since when do they allow fish at Airborne School? Did he hide it the whole time? And who is that attached to a fish?

Poor paratrooper can't follow instructions during training. I would not have been leniant I would have taken rank and made him miserable for awhile. No excuse for insubordination period. What the hell is wrong with you'll saying he only deserved light punishment? I am so glad I retired if I was his CSM or the School CSM it would have been his ass. Come on NCO's get your shit together before there is no place for you in the Army.

This soldier's life must really suck if the only one he has to celebrate his qualifying jump with is a freaking fish.
