“The day of the attack, you delivered a statement. You didn’t even have the decency to stand up,” the Marine veteran, who claims to be from Chattanooga area says before listing attacks the President railed against.

As reported by WJ:

The Marine then ticked off a list of shootings or deaths that Obama did stand up for while he spoke to the nation, including the Charleston shooting, the Boston bombings, the Baltimore riots, Michael Brown’s death, and the Washington Naval Yard shooting. He even stood up when singer Whitney Houston passed.

The Marine vet doesn’t back off until he’s lodged a number of grievances with the way the Obama administration has handled national tragedies and terrorist attacks on his watch.

I'll be interested to see how this plays out. Five bucks says it gets swept under the rug.

It's unprofessional and embarrassing to the Corps. I hope he's not active duty.

Are we truly surprised that the American public has moved on following the attacks in Tennessee? I mean really, does it surprise any of us? The attention span of the collective population of the US is that of a 2 month old. We all have our different interest groups and we tend to focus our energy on those groups. Of course a community of Veterans is going to focus on something like the attacks in Tennessee. Animal lovers are going to continue to go crazy over the killing the Cecil.

I think that we as a community of PROFESSIONALS must maintain ourselves as PROFESSIONALS. Yes, it is frustrating most of the time but to put the POTUS on blast as a Service Member in such a public way is not only dangerous for one's career but puts a black eye on our collective professionalism. Do I agree with the Marine, for the most part yes. He brings up some good points but I do not agree with how he delivered his message.

My heart continues to go out to these five service members and their families. I hope the military does the right thing and classifies their death as combat related so the families get the benefits their loved ones died for. I continue to hope that we as a nation start to see a reduction in these type of attacks and that we can once again come together as a unified body of one and show the world that this country, one that has for years been the benchmark for others to follow, can be that benchmark again. And I think it's worth stating that our thoughts should continue to be on all the men and women that left for combat only to never come home on this R.E.D. Friday.

BO is the CINC. Every military death, especially in this manner, should cut him like a knife. Period. Semper Fi.
