I do believe there may be some life in this HUGE universe. Who knows when and if we will ever find out, or run into each other.

I'm an engineer, systems, and numbers guy. If you take a look at the Earth's progression and when we fell out of the trees, then the rest of the math says there's older, many extinct, many advanced, some not as advanced. So odds are there will be a knock at the door someday.
Unless it's a universal truth that truly advanced civilizations stay away from the riff-raff because we're boring.
