After a spouse files for divorce, can a service member be made to go back to the barracks and made to stay there?

Daughter and son in-law are both in navy (Norfolk) she's filing for divorce. She just had a baby 2moths.
Can he be made to go back to barracks and made to stay there. He had a pto against him in San Diego but it didn't stop him. What are the options here ?

When my ex wife and I separated, I was made to move back to the barracks while she stayed in post housing. Your daughter should contact what ever the Navy has for Family Readiness Group and possibly the SILs Chain of Command.

I would take a look at these. When you separate you will usually have to provide your spouse a place to stay when you are drawing BAH. I had to do that. The rate is dependent on the rank of the service member. Each branch of the military is unique. I have some links to some info that you might find helpful.
