Here is how you can tell: Look at your Orders. What is the report date? When do you graduate AIT? That will tell you if you're getting Leave or not. If you didn't already, see if you can apply for Command Sponsorship to get your wife to come with you. Otherwise, she will be in the States for 1 year without you.

Ok, all great information....ask Drill, check orders, command sponsorship 'which is another beast within itself'. Let's run this up the channels and get someone involved that can answer your questions....Platoon Sergeant, Platoon Leader, 1SG or CO. It seems your a E-4 which maybe prior service or college would be my guess.
Therefore, utilize the tools the Army gave you - don't stop until you get the correct answers. Because, let's say you've taken leave after basic and it was ADVANCED LEAVE...you May not be authorized leave before Korea. There's to many situations......DONT WAIT, take it higher and get your answer!
Good luck.

When you're an IET Soldier you'll usually get shipped straight to Korea before you can apply for command sponsorship to bring your family.
As everyone said, when you report depends on your orders date
