After submitting my DD4 to AD and my completed 368 to my Reserve unit administrator, how long should the complete release take?

I submitted my DD4 to active duty and my completed 368 to my reserve unit administrator. Assuming everyone is on point, how long should the complete release take? I was informed I will not start getting paid on active duty until I am completely released from the reserves.

That DD4 is not valid without a 368 approved by your reserve RRC.
Usually the recruiter doesn't start a DD4 until you provide an approved 368 signed by the G1 or a general officer.
After that, you complete the DD4, get assignment orders to active duty, provide both of those to the reserve component to get discharged from the reserve component.
If by "Completed 368" you mean that it was already approved by a G1 or GO, then you will still need to provide the reserves with the DD4 and assignment orders.

SGM is correct. Your Conditional Release (DD Form 368) and enlistment contract (DD Form 4) will be forward to command head quarters. Once reviewed and vetted, you'll receive discharge orders from the reserves. This normally takes 30 -45 days or so; depending on the branch of service. Until this happens, you have to keep drilling.

Something doesn’t makes sense here:
You will not, let me say this again, you will not be under any contract until your reserve unit totally release you. So please check your files again.

how long SHOULD it take and how long WILL it take are two entirely separate questions.
