After the first day of Ranger School, only 3 women failed the PT test, 16 remain. Great job! Do the naysayers still doubt them?

I like that everyone gets to voice their opinion...but, when tackling something I know nothing about, I like to find someone who has...I've witnessed females in combat zones...I listen to them...

As much as I don't want to agree with your statement, I feel that you are totally correct in this. I just hope, that is not the motivation for either the female ranger students or their political supporters. Our nation is truly stepping on slippery stones.

Maybe it's the pot-o-gold, but I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that drive, heart and will to succeed are the major motivators that will get all candidates through. Success brings opportunities in all endeavors

Good luck ladies, but I'm not buying. I hope that you have thought through the physical ramifications. If you get stress fractures of the hips or collarbones you will never be the same. Back in the day we did studies on the female bodies and what happens to them during different events and the lasting effects. Wonder what happened to that report. Just so I don't get the you hate females replies. My wife and I meet at Ft. Bragg and she was a paratrooper. So I do believe females can do a lot of the same, but please understand the 2 bodies are completely different. Once the damage is done there is no return.

I agree about the bodies being completely different and am hoping that they won't suffer significant or life-changing injuries.
