I lost my grandfather to ALS 20 years ago. The "ice bucket" challenge raised over $115 Million for ALS research - today only $1 Million has been used up by research. Even so ALS research has discovered a rare gene associated with the disease. Early detection? A cure? Perhaps. The future is looking bright to ended ALS.. Do you know anyone who has been affected be it? Are we close to curing ALS?
