ANG back to Active Duty?

Just wanted to know has anyone gone through the process of going back to AD? My RE code is 3A and I am trying to go direct duty.

Also I have a co-worker who was thinking about coming back to AD but they receive 10% disability (for knee), but can past a PT test with no issues. Can they come back as well?

ARNG to Active is TOUGH. ‘Big Army’ doesn’t take lightly to us and our states struggle to maintain their enlistments to keep budgets from getting cut. So the necessary TAG Release is tough.

Also the TE3 will take a waiver at the very least.
