The issue is because your orders were extended. When you amend orders it won't trigger the update to tricare. The initial order will trigger the event for tricare. I dealt with this often when I was in the National Guard. Often, Tricare will only see the original order.

Thank you for the information. This is the first time I have had my orders amended multiple times, and was unaware it would cause this issue. I'm going to a DEERS office to get this fixed.

SGT (Join to see) I need to bring a copy of your amended orders. I spent 10 years in the National Guard and dealt with this pretty often. I would usually have to go to the deer's office to get it fixed and then I would go to Tricare.

Nothing is automatic. Reserve systems do not talk to active duty ones. You should have taken your extended orders in to DEERS, finance, and Tricare as soon as you got them so you could be coded in the system correctly - Similar to when you started on orders (someone else may have done the finace portion for you).

Thank you for the information. This is the first time I've had my orders amended multiple times, and was unaware it would cause this issue. I have never gone to DEERS before, and was also unaware that I would need to fix this issue with DEERS. Now that I know I will go to a DEERS office to get this fixed. Thank you for letting me know.
