Honestly if your looking to cut and paste from others your not ready. The better move would be follow instructions outlined in the USAREC web site. Then get a senior Warrant to review it for you. Who knows your hard work might just earn you a letter of recommendation.

I already have a former mp to 25B to 255A helping me but according to him it's good to look at the shell of others to ensure I compete. Talking to my 255N cw4 who wrote up the letter of recommendation, said I should not have an issue with my evals and all to be first time selected. But I don't want to get that to my head. I want to be safe and know that what I am presenting in my overall packet makes me standout

Trust me, follow the directions on USAREC's website and you will have no problems. The last few packets I reviewed (that were assessed) had duty descriptions much like the NCOER on the resume form and then they listed any awards during that time period.
Recommendations should discuss not only your technical acumen but your leadership experience as well.
In the end, your evals will be the main deciding factor.

Thanks cw4 Westbrook. I know my NCOER will hold weight. Ironically I have a friend who started off as an mp like me and was stationed together. We both reclassed to 25CMF and now he is a 255A. One thing he did was compare his packet with other recent selected warrants. I am also using his packet as a back drop for mine

thanks SPC Bernardy. Best advice I can tell you is once you make the rank of SGT, ensure you earn the NCOERS and do not like them be penciled in. Its harder now to do that with the new format but, there are still ways to get around it. I like day in and day out in becoming a 1/1 NCO. Always compete and compare yourself to your peers but never fault at the mission in doing so.
