Any 25D here that recently went through the course and can shed some light on selection process and topics covered in course?

For the selection process, you need to be an E5, able to get a TS/SCI clearance, IAM2 or IAT1 certificate(security+). Once the application has been submitted, if accepted you will have a Senior NCO proctor an exam on the computer. After that they would let you know if you are good to go. I would suggest studying Sec+ material, Linux and Python. The better the foundation, the better you will do.

ISST which is an exam on the computer, that you do not need to go to the ed center for but the senior NCO/personnel that you use for the memorandum is given the link.

Once the packet is sent to 25D and is accepted by them, the link is not sent to the soldier but to the person who will proctor the exam. WAN/LAN, OSI model and basically Sec+.
