Any aviators successfully complete the OC-VTIP via MAR2?

Unfortunately, I have just received a permanent DQ from Aviation for medical. I am starting the MAR2 process and hope to capitalize on an Out of Cycle-VTIP. Also, I recently completed my ACS packet with hopes of transferring to FA51.
Looking for information on the differences of 51A and 51C. After all the training do you get to request duty location (dream sheet) or is there opportunities to stay at Red Stone? Daily duties?
