Just came down on orders for Regional Health Command Europe, just don’t know the job I’ll be assigned except that the only 11Z position is as the MTD 1SG. It’s weird cause I am not being reassigned there to take another company since I am KD complete but the RHC-E G1 said most likely that I would be headed to MTD.

Think WTU-lite. If someone needs to be evacuated from theater for something that doesn’t require an inpatient stay, like an outpatient neuro or cardio workup, they stay at the quarters operated by the MTD. They may be cleared to return to theater or may go back to their unit’s rear D, but while being seen at LRMC, you’re responsible for them.

1SG, the only thing I can think of, since it's called the Transient Detachment, is what was once the Deployed Warrior Medical Management Center. It was the office attached with the Air Evac that tracked, received, monitored all incoming and outgoing SMs to/from forward areas for medical treatment. I was a part of the DWMMC back in 2002-2003 at LRMC. That is the only thing I can think of.

SFC, thanks and I am almost positive you are correct. I did look at their mission and saw it covers exactly what you described. The family and I are just looking forward to going Germany and taking a knee away from the BCT.
