Any information in regards to reclassing to 25D?

Greetings Brothers and Sisters,
I am currently serving as a 68W medic of 10 years, and I have been eyeing 25D or 17C as possibilities to reclass but due to requirements to 17C I am unable to reclass into that. That being said, I have done my research into the requirements needed for me to reclass my last to obstacles are the interim-TS and getting my Security+ which I got a few days ago. My questions consist of those who work in the MOS who could offer me any tips of things I should prepare for in regards to AIT or certifications that could fast-track me through AIT or ALC? as well as things I should consider in regards to my packet, or any information that can help me progress and ultimately succeed at reclassing? Also trying to find information in regards to the 25D ISST, I am concerned that I might not be prepared for it since I am not someone who works in networking?

Funny because I'm also a 68w, already passed the isst and submitted my packet waiting for an acceptance memo if I get accepted...
I have no experience except the comp tia security plus cert that I obtained thru my local university. Are you still pursuing 25d? How is that working for you.

I am looking into reclassing to this MOS as well.
I just raised my GT Score; Now I do have some questions on putting the packet together-

SSG (Join to see) - Being that your experience is Nil get the books that prepare you for it. And make sure you understand very well everything being presented. The certifications are several hundred dollars a pop to test. Now as a hack to the system get in good terms with your S-6 and they may work with you not only training wise but also the army has 2 week classes that can teach you the material and also pay for you to take the exam once. It is what I did for Security+ and I know at least at Bliss they have the classes there, I can't speak for other installations.

Yeah we’ve got them at hood, I’ve been looking at how to go about doing it. I guess you’ve gotta have sec+ and SSCP? Or is it just the one?SGT(P) (Join to see)

SSG (Join to see) - I had neither to get into Sec+ for Bliss it was a recommendation to have Net+, but I dived in anyway. Like I said talk to your S-6 and they can square you away on how to get in, when the class is, and maybe even some tips and tricks.
