Hey looking to drop my SFAS packet with the beginning of the new year. Anybody have any pro tips on how I can best prepare? Obviously rucking and running are some of the best things I can do physically, but does anyone have any insight from either personal experience or otherwise that could help me to not get weeded out?

Practice tucking heavy. The single most helpful thing I did for preparing was put a 70+ lb sand baby in a ruck and walk around with it on my back all day, every day. Do that for a few weeks to months until you start SFAS. Take a break from strenuous PT a week or two before starting

Do not burn yourself out on trainup. Go in the best health you can. STAY AWAY FROM THE ROADS. And literally do not give up. Sleep when you can. You need it. Eat all of the MRE. EVERYTIME.
