I've never been in a MP unit, but I suspect just like for all low density MOS's you'll be the support personnel to keep the whole unit running. Just like like Supply Soldiers in Combat Arms or Combat Support Units, that you'll have quite a lot of inventory/equipment in an MP troop unit. Along with all the other individual supply issues, turn-in's etc. You'll stay really busy I'd imagine.

You will be part of a headquarters section or platoon. They don't do the normal things that would be associated with the type of unit. In this case, members of this section won't be doing much, if any, miltary police work.
This kind of section does the behind - the - scenes stuff needed to allow the unit to perform its mission.
For you personally, as a junior enlisted Soldier, you will be a supply clerk for a SGT or SSG that runs the supply section. You can expect to help with record keeping, inventory, and issuing equipment. You will likely be asked to drive a supply vehicle as needed and may have an opportunity to become the unit armorer, if interested.
You will also have your fair share of detail duties and be put on gate guard duty or CQ runner like every other enlisted Soldier ever.

The "feels like" temperature is only 107 today......and almost nobody has electricity. Hurricane season (July, August & September) sucks.
But if you like hunting and fishing you will be very happy. But not during July through most of September. If you haven't heard.....it gets hot.

Yes it does get hot ... everything sticks to everything else! I know that I must be mistaken but it felt hotter running PT at Ft. Polk than ops in Panama.
