Have you ever found yourself on mail buoy watch?

Ever been handed a kapok life vest and broom and told to fend off any monkeys that try to board during a Suez Canal transit?

How about being sent after the elusive ID10T that the chief needs right away?

I'd like to hear some of the other service gags run on the new guy. Let's hear em please!

I've had new shipmates come to my storeroom for a "bulk head remover" and "50 feet of chow line."

Left handed crescent wrench, a can of camo spray paint, and the ever elusive can of compressed air type winter.

When all else fails, go ask a prick E-7, they love it when you call them that!

The bucket of steam and Bulkhead remover is kept in the motor pool on the same shelf as turn signal fluid and BA1100N's.

My favorite of all time was having a squad out for MILES Training adjusting their sights and then getting them to rack up the lazar dots after the training was over. (for my civilian friends "MULTIPLE INTERGRATED LASER ENGAGEMENT SYSTEM")

They spent the better part of an hour looking in the sand for those dots.
