Have you ever found yourself on mail buoy watch?
Ever been handed a kapok life vest and broom and told to fend off any monkeys that try to board during a Suez Canal transit?
How about being sent after the elusive ID10T that the chief needs right away?
I'd like to hear some of the other service gags run on the new guy. Let's hear em please!

I was aPvt2 in Germanyin the 547th Engineers. It was my first time doing PMCS on a 113. The squad thought it would be funny to play a joke on me. They told me to get some squelch oil from the motor Sgt. I came back 45minutes later. They were like asking me where I went. I told them the Sgt sent me to go see the 1st Sgt and while I was there CSM Wilson was there talking to the 1st Sgt and now CSM Wilson wants everyone in the squad to report to his office in Class A uniforms. I went to chow and they ran back to the barracks to get in there class A's.... The joke was on them because I made that story up... They never tried to screw with me again...

Go to the vet clinic and see if they have any K9-P. Go to Medical Equipment Repair and ask for some Fallopian Tubes.

Right next to the four feet of flight line in the motor pool. It's used to stitch up a torn CV boot.

Bottle of focusing solution for a Nikon camera, or a box of f/stops for a Speed Graphic. Forgot about the Paper stretcher.

Relative Bearing Grease and powdered H20 are good ones. Also, sending a nub to clean the baffles brings a good laugh to all involved. Never go seek a Machinist Punch.......

OH, while you're at it, would you mind bringing back a left handed deflection shifter?
